The Brief

We at 528 Creative collaborated with Republic of Work to produce a dynamic event video for DeepTech Festival Ireland, capturing the energy, innovation, and networking that define this national-level technology event. The aim was to showcase the festival as a premier gathering of tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders while highlighting sponsors, keynotes, and attendee interactions.

We filmed sunrise footage over Cork City to capture the vibe of early risers and the excitement of the tech industry starting the day. We captured candid B-roll of networking, food, and interactions, as well as pieces to camera with key figures including Frank Brennan, the CEO of Republic of Work, and other keynote speakers. We conducted a two-camera setup for panel and keynote sessions and carefully selected answers from interviews to craft a cohesive narrative that tells the story of the event’s impact and prestige.

The resulting five-minute highlight video was distributed to all attendees and used as promotional content to support ticket sales for the 2026 festival, demonstrating the event’s scale and influence.

PROCESS

1. Pre-Event Planning - We coordinated with Republic of Work to map out key speakers, panel sessions, networking zones, and sunrise shots over Cork City.
2. Sunrise & Atmosphere Filming - We captured beautiful early-morning aerial and ground-level footage to convey the festival’s energy and cityscape context.
3. Networking & Candid B-Roll - We filmed attendees, food, sponsor stands, and interactions to showcase the vibrant community atmosphere.
4. Pieces to Camera - We interviewed keynote speakers, panelists, and organizers, capturing their insights with a two-camera setup for flexibility and visual variety.
5. Event Coverage - We filmed keynote sessions, panel discussions, and on-stage interactions to demonstrate the festival’s professional calibre.
6. Post-Production - We selected the strongest interview clips, combined with B-roll and event highlights, and edited a polished five-minute video to showcase the festival for attendees and future marketing purposes.
