The Brief

We at 528 Creative were thrilled to work with Franciscan Well Brewery & Brewpub in Cork to produce vibrant, engaging content for their website and social channels. As part of Fáilte Ireland’s Digital That Delivers Enhance Websites programme, the brewery wanted videos and photography that highlight the authentic Irish craft beer experience, lively pub atmosphere, and their rich brewing heritage.

The shoot focused on capturing the warm, welcoming vibe of the brewery, featuring staff like Shane Long, the man behind Franciscan Well, alongside groups of friends enjoying craft beers, playing board games, and sampling pizzas onsite. The content was designed for social media reels, Instagram Stories, website banners, and immersive online experiences.

FILMING EQUIPMENT

Sony A7III Camera - We used this camera to capture high-quality, cinematic images and video of the brewery interior, staff, and patrons enjoying the craft beer experience.
Sony G-Master Lenses (14mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm) - We captured wide establishing shots of the brewery, mid-range shots of patrons, and detailed close-ups of pints and brewing equipment.
Aputure LS C120d II with Light Dome & Nanlite Tubes - We used these lights to ensure even, professional lighting in both the pub interior and brewery spaces.
DJI RS4 Pro Gimbal & Easy-Rig - We captured smooth handheld movement while following patrons, staff, and brewery tours.

PROCESS

Pre-Production Planning - We worked closely with Franciscan Well to understand the brewery layout, key experiences to highlight, and the target audience for both social media and website content.
Filming & Photography - We filmed the lively pub atmosphere, brewery tours, brewing process, pouring of pints, and customers enjoying board games and pizza. We captured dynamic angles and candid interactions to reflect the energy and authenticity of the brewery.
Lighting & Details - We used professional lighting and flashes to capture crisp, detailed shots of beers, food, and the interior, ensuring everything looked vibrant and inviting.
Post-Production - We edited the footage into a 60-90 second brand video, along with 4×15 second vertical clips for Instagram Reels. We also produced high-resolution images ready for website banners and social posts, applying colour grading, sound design, and closed captions for accessibility.
Delivery - We delivered polished content optimised for social media, website use, and marketing campaigns, emphasising the brewery’s warm, social, and award-winning environment.

RESULTS

We created a dynamic brand video and social media reels that showcase Franciscan Well’s lively pub, brewing process, and craft beer expertise.
We produced high-resolution photography suitable for website banners, social channels, and promotional materials.
Our content captured the friendly, social atmosphere, helping attract both tourists and local patrons.
The final deliverables strengthened Franciscan Well’s online presence and provided engaging visuals that celebrate their award-winning craft beers and unique Cork city location.
