Freezi Licks

The Brief

We at 528 Creative collaborated with Costcutter to produce a range of exciting content for their brand Freezi Licks. The goal was to create dynamic social media videos and in-store TV content that showcased the fun, flavourful ingredients on offer. Shot in our studio, the focus was on delivering fast-paced, energetic visuals that would appeal to a wide audience and drive attention both online and at point of sale.

FILMING EQUIPMENT

  • Sony FX6 Camera - Our main camera for capturing high-quality, cinematic footage.
  • Sony A7III Camera with 50mm 1.4 Lens - Used for detail shots and shallow depth-of-field product imagery.
  • Sony G-Master Lenses (14mm, 24mm, 35mm, 70-200mm) - For a mix of wide, mid, and close-up perspectives.
  • Aputure LS C120d II with Light Dome & Nanlite Tubes - To create vibrant, even lighting that enhanced the bright, playful feel of the brand.

PROCESS

  1. Pre-Production Planning - We worked with Costcutter to develop a visual style that matched the playful, youthful energy of Freezi Licks. We storyboarded fast-paced edits and ingredient-focused shots.
  2. Studio Filming & Photography - We filmed the ingredients being poured, mixed, and served, capturing every detail with dynamic camera angles and punchy movements.
  3. Lighting & Styling - We used bold, colourful lighting to highlight the freshness and fun of the product range, ensuring every shot popped on social feeds and in-store screens.
  4. Post-Production - We edited the footage into both long-form in-store videos and short, snappy social cuts. The edits focused on high energy, rhythm, and motion, making the content engaging and memorable.
  5. Delivery - Final content was optimised for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and in-store point-of-sale displays.

RESULTS

  • We produced a suite of fast, dynamic videos that showcased the ingredients and variety of Freezi Licks.
  • Delivered both social-ready cuts and in-store TV content, ensuring wide usability across platforms.
  • The content captured the excitement and fun of the brand, helping Freezi Licks stand out in Costcutter locations nationwide.
