The Brief

We at 528 Creative collaborated with Jägermeister and Hopkins Communications to create a series of cocktail-making videos designed to showcase the versatility of Jägermeister in mixology. The project focused on producing two long-form videos (around 2 minutes each) that demonstrated step-by-step instructions for crafting two distinct cocktails. In addition, we produced shorter social-first cutdowns optimised for Instagram and TikTok. The goal was to provide engaging, educational, and visually striking cocktail content that could live across Jägermeister’s social channels and YouTube.

FILMING EQUIPMENT

PROCESS

• Pre-Production Planning - We worked with Hopkins and Jägermeister to script out the cocktail flow and plan key visual beats for both long-form and short-form content.
• Filming - Shot in a professional bar setting, we used multiple angles to capture everything from wide atmosphere shots to detailed pours, garnish placement, and mixing techniques.
• Lighting & Detail Work - We lit the set to highlight textures, condensation, and the rich tones of the cocktails while maintaining an inviting bar aesthetic.
• Post-Production - We edited two full-length cocktail videos for YouTube and social platforms, plus created a series of short, vertical cutdowns optimised for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Sound design was added to emphasise ASMR-style elements like pouring, shaking, and stirring.
• Delivery - Delivered polished, versatile content tailored for Jägermeister’s digital strategy across platforms.
