The Brief

We at 528 Creative collaborated with Diageo and 9 Below to produce a series of photography and social media reels highlighting the bar’s new cocktail menu. The goal was to showcase the innovative use of Diageo spirits, visually communicate the craftsmanship behind each cocktail, and create engaging content for social media platforms.

We captured stylish product photography of each new cocktail, as well as dynamic short-form video content that emphasises presentation, ingredients, and the overall vibe of 9 Below. The content was designed to be visually striking, shareable, and optimised for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels.

PROCESS

1. Pre-Shoot Planning - We coordinated with 9 Below and Diageo to plan shots for each cocktail and select visual styles for both photography and social reels.
2. Cocktail Photography - We captured high-quality stills highlighting each new cocktail’s presentation, ingredients, and glassware, using high-speed lighting to capture every detail crisply.
3. Social Media Reel Filming - We filmed short-form content showing cocktail preparation, garnishing, and pouring sequences with dynamic angles and smooth motion.
4. Post-Production - We edited photography for digital and print use and produced engaging social media reels with optimised pacing, music, and text overlays.
5. Content Delivery - We provided a complete suite of images and reels ready for 9 Below’s social media campaigns and marketing materials.
