The Brief

We at 528 Creative partnered with Republic of Work to create a suite of testimonial videos showcasing the experiences of their Corporate Members and Startups. The goal was to highlight why members chose to be part of the innovation hub, how the space has contributed to their growth, and what makes Republic of Work unique compared to other coworking and innovation hubs.

The videos were designed to feel professional yet approachable, modern, and natural - positioning Republic of Work as both a credible and welcoming environment for businesses. The final content was intended for YouTube, website use, and social media campaigns.

PROCESS

1. Pre-Production - We worked with the Republic of Work team to confirm which corporate members and startups would take part (approx. 8). Republic of Work provided prompts and a loose script for interviews, which we refined into natural conversation starters.
2. Filming - We captured interviews in carefully chosen areas of the hub, including the business lounge and grow room, to ensure strong visual backdrops.
3. Keeping it Human - To avoid the testimonials feeling scripted, we included a quick “off-camera” moment before each interview, such as a laugh, reaction, or bit of casual chat. This helped set a relaxed tone and made each piece feel more natural, human, and fun.
4. Style & Approach - Our focus was on authenticity: capturing honest, natural answers in a relaxed way while keeping production quality high. The two-camera setup gave us more flexibility in editing, ensuring the testimonials flowed smoothly and dynamically.
5. Post-Production - We edited the interviews into individual testimonial videos, highlighting each member’s perspective. We integrated text overlays for clarity, subtle branding, and polished sound design. Shorter cuts were created for social media distribution.
